Bâtiment 103
Aerial view of the roof of building 103

Building 103 is a demonstrator applied to a student residence with high usage intensity. It aims to experiment with solutions for reducing and optimizing energy consumption in an existing building, by integrating local photovoltaic energy production, battery storage, usage management, and occupant involvement.

Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles is integrated into an intelligent management approach, one of the objectives being to shift usage in order to reduce pressure on the electricity grid.

  • 178 kWp of solar panels on 2500m2
  • 100kWh of storage per battery
  • 10 electric vehicle charging points
  • 1090 thermostatic valves and sensors
  • Usage tracking application
  • Laboratories involved:  CREST, CRG, LMD, LVMT
