In the AgriPV enclosure
In a context of climate change and tensions over resources, the AgriPV agriphotovoltaic demonstrator addresses issues at the nexus of water, energy, and food security. This experimental plot allows the study of the sharing of solar resources between electricity production and agriculture (alfalfa cultivation). Sensors measure weather conditions, soil water and heat status, sunshine, as well as energy production and agronomic monitoring. Around this demonstrator are skills in engineering, agronomy, climatology and energy science.
- Plot of 450m2, control plot of 250m2;
- More than 80 sensors distributed in the ground, in the air and on photovoltaic structures;
- An interdisciplinary approach: solar radiation, monitoring and optimization, regional climate modeling, life cycle analysis,...
- Laboratories involved: LMD, GeePs, URP3F, CEREA, OIE, LSCE
