Coriolis Seminar - The energy transition and the technologies and tools to achieve the Green Deal

This presentation will address the main efforts by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the tools that have been developed to help research in the field of cleantech transition into real and concrete innovations. The EIC was established only four years ago, but the impact of this new agency is strongly highlighted in a recent Draghi’s report, which underscores the necessity of significantly enhancing innovation in the EU area. During the presentation, the EIC's approach will be detailed, and its proactive management in the field of advanced materials for energy will be explained. This topic is fundamental and strategic for Europe, especially when considering the Critical and Strategic Raw Materials, which strongly influence Europe's strategic autonomy.
